  • Ugh. Another wounded white war veteran whose therapy is going to an exotic locale and killing as many things/people as possible. Hollywood, hilarious. Looks good but JC is a proud Confederate vet; you know, they really did exist! Yeah they were on the wrong side morally with slavery but they were also human beings & most were proud of their service, whether we like it or not in the 21st Century with our 20/20 moral hindsight.

  • *LYNN* Collins. IMDB could have helped with that. Just sayin.

  • Because it's Andrew Stanton trying to put his stamp on this, he gets a pass, at least until the movie is out. There's nothing wrong with making John Carter a little darker. After all, Burrough alludes to this when he has Carter claiming he has no memory of a childhood. And if they want to make Dejah Thoris a little feister than she comes off in the books, that's OK with me-- and Lynn Collins certainly seems up for it.

  • Yeah, let's change all the characters. I mean hell, we've got the names and the title, so why keep the rest?

  • whoa guys, its Lynn Collins.
