Darius Knight, the British No 3 table tennis player, talks about training with the Chinese team and how he stays focused on his Olympic dream.
Along with fellow compatriot Paul Drinkhall, Knight and Britain's top paddlers will travel to the Far East where they will train with the Chinese national squad in a ground-breaking agreement.
Knight calls table tennis his saviour after learning the trade in a battered shed in Battersea. He was spotted in 2002 when Knight and three friends would often travel after school to hone their talents on a table in a run-down out-house.
From a broken family in Wandsworth, Knight was subsequently sent up to Sheffield where he now plays full-time at the national academy and represents GB on the World Pro Tour.
He may not be a medal hope for 2012 but British table tennis has high hopes for the Londoner in 2016.
