You must be from British Columbia?

General Canadian sounds similar to General American however when you said, "out" that was very Canadian. :) - Now if you had someone say these words who happened to speak Black American Vernacular - words would be pronounced or said differently like "Car Payment = Car Note" or "Aunt" would sound like Ahnt. Linguistics are fascinating.

Sounds more British than American. Americans tend to add a Y to "da-ta". They think it's spelled "day-ta". I suspect most Americans are just dyslectic.

I'm from Ontario too (Toronto), but I have never heard of a pill bug! I think I've been calling them "potato bugs" (those oval grey bugs you find in the garden a lot). I also find myself saying On-velope rather than "Envelope" more often, and pronouncing sure as "sher". :)
