Where did this interview come from, please? I have never seen him talking before about his work, although I've read books they can never be the same as seeing the person himself. Thanks for posting this.

I couldn't agree with both comments more. It's great to be able to see these. Bergman and his colleagues were creating art that had no relation to anything normally considered "movies". Part of the genius of his work is that he never pandered or succumbed to cheap gimmicks. His was the art of story, emotion and the meaning of reality, and No One in my opinion has ever come close to his abilty to tranform how we see these things through film. Bergman can never die-

It's interesting to see how movies were made in those days and compare it to the awful CGI-packed blockbusters made this day. Michael Bay sits behind the camera and have the computer do all the stuff... Sh.t... Bergman and Nykvist were great together!
