  • Guys, just read the comments below ) Yes, it's the powered USB hub and it's been working on one of the first firmware releases (official ones). However, this feature has gone in the latest versions (i don't really know why WD did that). If you still want to use USB hub, take a closer look at b-rad's custom firmware!

  • For me dont works. FAKE

  • @conroe81 Yep! It doesn't work anymore, as WD has eliminated the USB hub functionality in latest firmware releases. But believe me, that was true )

PS BTW USB hubs still working with b-rad firmware, chech it out if you need this feature

  • @conroe81 Just because you can't get it going doesn't make it fake. Mine's working fine with 4 hard drives and a 16Gb USB stick off one hub.

  • Thank you for posting this. I upgraded to 1.30.01 WDLXTV-0.5.8.1 and now have 4 1.5TB drives and a 16gb stick hanging off my WDHDTV. I'm just trying to work on the networking side of it.

  • better lighting, higher resolution ..maybe even an explanation? pls try again
