Got this a few ago as a Kit. Took me 16 hours to build. Its upgraded with 6mm offset drift wheel in the back and 3mm offset in the front. The latest upgrade is a light kit from China. Its only $20 shipped and comes with a control box, font lights, rear lights and turn signals. There are slots for 3 other light options, like fog lights reverse lights and other stuff.

  • The quality is the best of the best! Absolutly amazing. Great attention to detail. In the kit hpi included windshield wipers for both right and left hand drive set ups. So if you want you can built a japan spec or us spec car with different side markers and lights. The size is perfect it's just a bit smaller than regular 10 scale rc cars but it looks much more realistic. Everything looks more real becuase of realistic size.

  • Does it have a dbox/hpi ?

    I just one /510/ one and I don't know

If I should buy it /dbox

    What do u think?

  • Dont buy the d box. Its really easy to drift without the box. Make sure you get drift tires right away.

  • The model comes with plastic chrome bumpers, mirrors and wipers and light buckets.

The kit is 199, you have to put it together. I thought it should be a piece of cake. But i was very wrong. It took me 14 hours to build this thing and it was not very easy. I already had an engine and ESC from another car. I did have to get a radio which was 50 with two servos. And engine and ESC will cost you anywhere from 80 to 300. I have a really nice brushless ESC and Motor from Castle Creation for 169.

  • The motor i used to get it to go 40-45 was a Brushless set up from Castle Creations 5000kv version with stock gearing. The gearing was stock and the motor got hot. So i recommend to go a few teeth down. The hardest part is too keep the car from spinning out when you are going 1/4 of a throttle and then gun it it just spins out.

  • at the 40 to 45mph is it in any way controllable if you keep it's standard tyres on? or do you need to buy other ones?

  • to be honest, on a street outside of my house at 45 it was pretty hard to control. On a big parking lot it was pretty easy.

  • can you make the rear-end hump up and down when you're in front of a cute girl at a stoplight?

  • can you drive it thru your ex-girlfriend's front yard?

  • those are really cool. could you go off road with it?
