  • This just shows the Genius of Quincy Jones. To take the gifts of someone extraordinary like Phil Collins and put him in a completely different genre like an old R&B standard and have him sound incredible. Im not taking anything away from Phil. I love his voice and already by himself, Phil Collins Has got Soul!

It just needed Q to put it all together :)

  • WOW. That is beautiful! Thanks for uploading!

  • HE BROKE UP WITH HIS WIFE FOR THE BABYSITTER WITH A MESSAGE ON THE WIFE'S ANSWERING MACHINE,..IRONIC?

  • Sry to say, but I don't like Phil's singing in this number. The music itself is fantastic, is should be instrumental till the end...

  • me enamoré hace años, con esta canción.............

  • THIS ... Is a masterpiece! Doesn't get a whole lot betta'! As an 'older' musician this is what I just love to hear ... and play!!! :)

Thanks to ALL for this one!

  • THIS.... Is a masterpiece!!! Doesn't get a whole lot better. As an 'older' musician myself, this is what I love to hear, and play!!! Thanks!!!

  • A great rendition - what in French would be called "une grande reference" of a great jazz (not R&B) standard. Really puts Phil up there as a very good jazz singer . Quincy's orchestration's a thing of beauty but that's not him conducting, is it ?

If you want a great female version of this song, try Ella's (slow) or Karrin Allyson's (fast, almost uptempo).

  • Love this version with Phil the most, wonderful!!

  • Timeless, thanks for posting :-)
