@JavaSpitLava the 303 is out of production; however, there's the x0xb0x , which is designed to be 100% identical, using all the original components. It's available for maybe $500 assembled, or $300 in DIY kit form.

is there any machine that compares to the 303?....im trying to find one, and the 303 itself is running for like $2000 atm...thats outrageous....i need to know an alternative!

@donpirla As someone who has used other "sinthehesizers" that you would consider much more capable (such as a modular Moog, a Novation A-Station, MicroKorg, Roland Juno 6, etc. etc.), I would have to say that you aren't quite right in your assessment of the TB-303. Sure, it can't do what other synths do, but that's not what the folks using them intended them for. The reason these got so popular was because of their unique sound, their lack of control. Constraints breed creativity, my friend.
