After more than 30 years, VN still poor, corrupt and no improvements at all. People still live in poverty, the government is corrupt like hell and the country is still not developing compare to others nations. Sonn, VN will belong CHINA becuz parts of the VN land and sea got sold to CHINA by the Stupid Communist Government. Stop day dreaming and get back to reality. VN is dying and got invade by the barbaric China.

@ASCKS lol new asian tiger? puh-lease! i live in Saigon, the most modern city in Vietnam. the standard of living here is still very low. sure there've been improvements, but not that much. the only ppl who are really rich are the Communist party members.

@ASCKS it's true that many vietnamese are smart, some vietnamese in america even work for NASA. but the vietnamese goverment dont treat the smart ppl well. that's why most of them go abroad to work for other countries. for example, Ngo Bao Chau is only given an apartment by the goverment, while many communists have big houses and cars. i mean, WTF? he won a Field medal for Vietnam!

if we want to be like South Korea, there's gotta be some big political change.

Vietnam is a beautiful country, rich in history and with very charming people. I have always wished to visit the country, unfortunately it is just to expensive for me since I have to depart from Europe. I am keeping my fingers crossed though, perhaps one day I will be able to visit.

South VN didnt want American to sent troops, but noo...American think they can handle the problem with one fight, not knowing that VN is unlike any other country, American sent troops over make Vietnamese thought American try to colonize VN so now American is warring with the whole country of VN ( estimated at least 70 millions) go against the Ameican. Remember, Vn dont fight over religion, Vn people do fight back when they see sign of their country being invaded
