Yes they are. Mostly freestyle but you can really take them everywhere you want.

yeah the contacts are more flexy and a little lighter but not as responsive on all mountain riding as the forces. its really all about what your looking to do. people say the contacts arent as comfortable either

hey, my ratchet on my toe strap won't snap back into place without some force, it seems to be the springs but i don't know how to get at them. any suggestions?

how do you mount these on your board? it seams like they only have one bolt??

unions have a footbed/disc cover. the 4 screw holes are under the cover. so it is basically the same mounting as any other binding. it makes it so your foot has a flat base to stand on, not sunken-in over the discs like other bindings.
