if you are not looking for perfect results, i would recommend using the chroma key tool, photoshop removes the colour for you in about 5 secs
Your video has been very helpful. I was wondering if you might know of any places I can get some free digital backdrops / backgrounds Well thanks again.

Click on the link to website in the video description. There is a free plugin to create your own digital backdrops in photoshop.

Yes, it works (it obviously worked for the photo in the video). I've extracted thousands of images this way. You must not have your green screen lighting correct (or be using a green screen at all).

Yes it's locked, the brush write exactly where it should, the only problem is that it writes in white-grey rather than in the color picked. I even tried with different background colors, no way... A screenshot could help? Thank you for your help.

Maybe you could post a video response so I could see what you are talking about. I really can't say what is going on without seeing it. If you have Windows, there is a free screen recorder called Cam Studio that you can download.

It worked greatly to me until a couple of days ago...after that moment, when I use the brush in color mode, rather than adjusting with the color picked, a white/grey line appears. Surely I messed up something, but I can't figure out what. I even tried restoring PS default settings, but it's still not working. Do you have any idea about what is the option I'm forgetting to check? Thank you very much in advance.

I'm not quite sure what is happening.
Do you have the lock transparency button checked?
