The Losi® 5IVE-T™ truck is a big, bad, massive truck that oozes adrenaline from the moment you open the box. Designed from the ground-up to have the performance of a highly trained athlete, the 5IVE-T delivers heart-pounding performance. But, much like that highly trained athlete, you should properly prepare your vehicle before it hits the ground and sends rooster tails of dirt in every direction. We've worked closely with the folks at Losi to help you get your 5IVE-T up and running properly from the first start to the one-hundred first.

In this video we will demonstrate:
1) The proper procedure for mixing 2-cycle oil and gasoline
2) Final pre-run checks for every time you use your Losi 5IVE-T
3) How to fuel your truck
4) Setting the choke, priming and initial starting tips
5) How to re-start the engine once its warmed up
6) How to tune the carburetor
7) How to perform a range check

In addition to these steps here, you can also check out our un-boxing and first initial setup tutorial we have put together on the Losi 5IVE-T. You can view that by visiting http://www.horizonhobby.com/article/2325-losi-5ive-t-initial-setup.

  • @HorizonRCdotCom True, but I am an all electric fan. No mess, No fuss. :)

  • @Estara Compared to $15-to $20 a quart for Nitro it is considerably less expensive to run gas vs nitro.

  • @suvyMan2007 You do realize that is almost $2 for a half a gallon of gas. I wouldn't call that cheap.

  • @suvyMan2007 yup

  • wow fuel is cheap there

  • Great video, amazing car.
