You've been warned, if you ever come visit me on my island, I will force you to try and eat this ramen.

  • wow your a hard task master, "eat this shrimp or get off my island!" seems a bit harsh to me but who am i to judge?

  • @davehome22 Hey! It's my island and I get to make the rules! Making people eat delicious ramen doesn't seem that bad...I could make the rule 'No Boys Allowed.' =P

  • Gotta love Kirin beer, even if its not Asahi lol (actually I prefer Kirin)...Apart from the shellfish, I could eat that Ramen no problem, probably even enjoy it...apart from those snail shellfish things, not a big fan of those. I figured you were in rural Japan, but didn't realize you were on one of the islands.Thats pretty cool : )

  • @MicknFumi I'm very rural...I think my island is about as rural as it can get. Though, it is only an hour and half away from Tokyo BY BOAT! The ramen is quite good, even though it has a brain fetus sazae shell in it. =P

  • @ConstantineInTokyo Sounds nice, we're about an hour 15 mins away from the city, we used to be 3.5hrs away. 1.5hours is nice, close enough to get there for a day trip, far away enough not to get caught up in it...So you must be like East of Tokyo, do you get good surf there? I'd love to see some of the coastline : )

  • @MicknFumi You can surf on my island, but it's not all that great - lots of volcanic rocks and stuff. BUT, the neighboring island is one of the best surfing spots in Japan (so I hear, I don't surf)...though I'm not sure Japan has many great surfing spots. If you're in Tokyo when it's warm, you should stop by the islands for a weekend!

  • @strati5 He's got nerves of steal, that one.

  • @ConstantineInTokyo The neighboring island must be awesome, I've seen some really nice waves in Japan. But I've never surfed over there, its a bit hard to lug around a surfboard. HikoSaemon said he'd take me to some cool spots next time I'm over there, he has a couple of boards...I'd love to check out some of the J islands out that way. I've only ever been to Honshu. Havta try that brain fetus sazae shell ramen sometime....cheers : D
