Vorderkaserklamm

When the ice melted at the end of the Ice Age about 12 - 14,000 years ago began the formation of Vorderkaserklamm.
The water masses polished slowly deeper and deeper into the rock and let the imposing Gorge formed,
still today, the rock processed in approximately 6 mm.

Lamprechtshöhl

With its 35 km of total extension of the Lamprechtshöhle belongs St. Martin bei Lofer the largest cave systems in Europe.
