@CarVio You fault Toney for talking smack then you turn around and diss the guy for the way he speaks. He started his boxing career at 160 as a middleweight and has now taken punches from guys in the heavyweight division. With over 80+ pro fights 37 amatuer fights and countless sparring sessions you can only imagine the damage the guy has sustained throught his life time. His speach was not always as slurred, but this happens to many fighters. Look at Ali for example.

@Wrestlefan1 but also he didnt have enough time to train his wrestling. still it was kind of pathetic. you'd think a skilled "athlete" would be able to adapt

@bobjangle11 yea i saw him... i was there actually... and yes he was out of shape, but that had nothing to do with it.. it was his whole game plan... he went in there solely to knock him out... and he couldve but he obviously didnt spend enough time workn on takedown defense... and getting up from the ground... yes randy couture is a great wrestler.. but james toney got taken down with a single leg... easily... as long as a mma fighter is not forced to try to punch a boxer... mma will always win

It's kinda annoying that nobody respects Toney......Boxing legend....Everyone knows how the fight went down, but props to Toney for competing in a forum where he's not the king......He's so outta shape tho..did anyone see him? Fuckin' bummed me out
