ITS KIND OF FUNNY THAT THESE MOVIE ARE ABOUT FIGHTING BECAUSE THEY REALLY BEAT THIS FRANCHISE TO DEATH.

This movie is another masterpiece in this wonderful franchise. Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita were brilliant as always. Tamlyn Tomita and Danny Kamekona were great too but I still missed Macchio's screen mother, she was very impressive in original movie. Anyway, The Karate Kid 2 was great sequel. They put more philosophy in it plus we can find out more about Miyagi's origin. I miss the 80's

@singhakabuttar
Having been born and raised in Okinawa and Tokyo and being a dedicated practitioner of Goju-Ryu Karate (the one displayed in these movies) i assure you that aside from normal minor Hollywoodifications and dramatisations, that the movies were pretty accurate.

Is pretty accurate to the foundations of the style. Dumbed down and stripped of any detail but accurate none the less.
It should also be noted that this movie was made in the 80's and the supposed "right way of doing things" in Goju-Ryu seems to change every other month.
