Applying Basic First Aid - Minor Injury Care
**Seek professional medical assistance if you are seriously injured -- This is not professional medical advice**
In this video, I go over some basics of how I take care of wounds, cuts, scrapes, small lacerations, etc. I discuss materials I like to use and have on hand as well as preferences for those materials, i.e. betadine vs hydrogen peroxide in relation to cytotoxicity and bactericidal properties.

ALWAYS SEEK PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ASSISTANCE IF SERIOUS INJURY OCCURS. I am not a medical professional. I believe that a basic knowledge of first aid is very important for a variety of situations and is a main focal point of my belief that everyone should be self-sufficient. You don't want the first time you are administering first aid to be after a serious injury has occurred. While you may not be able to do any major medical procedure when you are isolated from professional help, a basic knowledge of first aid may give you the advantage that keeps you (or whoever is injured) alive until that professional attention can be reached.

As always, Stay safe!
