Woods-The Destruction 1-The Last Look...The field and surrounding woods behind our house has been sold to a developer who already has 70 Mobile home parks, numerous business rentals and communities around western New York. He will be building over 200 Patio homes. The fields and woods are on the next town, where most of my Wildlife videos have taken place. And in our back yard.
So I moved the bird feeders to another location where the Finch feeder is on our property. So all subsequent videos will be taken there.
BUT I still have many other Bird Series coming up!
I explain at certain times the forgoing project in my videos up an coming. I have talked to the Town Code Enforcement Officer and one of the machine operators.
And recently with neighbors, and our Town official. Some neighbors are upset about it also. He is gathering Info will pass out letters to neighbors along the line.
He was told before he moved in here that the Line was a Forever Wild area. Obviously a lie. They may even put up a big white fence.
Its sad to see the trees go behind our house, but on the far left corner there are many more trees and along the other road on the right, of which they've taken some down already.
Will see how it goes for Wildlife, as for the return to Spring next year...my final year here.
The next few video series will be about this and to save the last remaining Tree line behind this communities houses. I appreciate any support. Thank you

I am really sad to here this bad news...I know how much you love tress woods and birds.....They don't care any thing about nature and wildlife,,
They just want to give a good cleanup and do there job..That's all ..This is really bad...
lmmsl 2 years ago
No not really, esp this guy who bought the land.
It does give people jobs, but at what cost to Wildlife. They should have consulted the people on this That Town approved it.
