4th Grade Energy Star Skit

The Educational Alliance at PS 140 is committed to teaching our students the importance of going green and conserving energy. This is a skit and rap written and performed by our 4th grade class. Below is the script so you can follow along with their words.

Student 1: Tomas, why dont you turn off your lights in your room?

Tomas- Because I didnt want to, and besides leaving the lights on doesnt hurt anything!

(Group yells WHAT! Together)

Student 2- Yes it does hurt something! A little thing called the environment, plus its good to save energy to protect our environment.

Student 3- The more we save energy by turning off lights, shutting off our videogames and computers the more we help protect our planet.

Tomas- so when I leave my room from now on ill turn off everything and leave it off! Thanks guys!

Student 4- Wait! Wait! Wait...
