i have 2 of these subs and mine are 250rms so i doubt these are 150rms. mine are the same but the k in the middle of the sub is different to mine. i'm running my subs on a 250watts per channel amp rms wattage and my subs are perfectly matched.

@kskate91 haha you need more power.. say around 300w rms but that amp would probably at least give you some bass

I got one of these would a older model fosgate punch 160a2 amp power it decently? It's rated 80 watts by 2 at 2 ohms.

Pretty good seeing how they only take 150 rms a piece id rather go with the aluminized ones 400 rms a piece

@Invin86rs if your subs were new it could have been the lacquer on the voice coils burning and setting. its normal to have a bit of a smell for the first couple days of pushing them.
