  • To all, I think it is enough to point out that the piece was composed using a Harpsichord. It is possible that Handel may have taken into consideration the characteristics of a Harpsichord in this composition. I am not trained to form an opinion on this. May be others can. One can not really compare when it is performed on a piano. It's like comparing apple to orange. What is the point !? Anyway, here is one that performed on a piano, and i quite like it myself. watch?v=EZaaX_TgiiE

  • Now now ....children, please cool down!!! Otherwise i will, i will .............i will make you stand in the corner for one hour. ; )

  • @MaryemWael i take it that you don't like the sound of a Harpsichord !! lol

  • @lostpebble The Harpsichord rocks, just listen to Golden Brown by the Stranglers. :)

  • @MatteusNova Thanks for reminding me of that favorite song, have not heard it for quite a while.....yeah a very melodic song indeed, the harpsichord & the bass lines are just beautiful.

  • @MaryemWael The piano sucks for Baroque music. This music was intended for the harpsichord NOT the piano. The piano did not even exist when this music was written. I personally hate the way harpsichord music sounds on the piano. Definitely not intended for that instrument. That's like trying to play a Beethoven sonata on the harpsichord, it just doesn't work...

  • @ModellMeister Alles klar Herr Komischer Kommissar!!! :)

  • @MatteusNova Baroque is superior to all other forms of lowly music.

  • is this for real? when i listen to this i wonder why people listen to horrible hip hop.

  • @VictorMLudwig I don't think any of Beethoven's sonatas were intended for the harpsichord. Perhaps Beethoven's publisher wrote for piano or harpsichord to increase the sales?

  • @athrun200 It's not a big deal.

    Some people like it.

    It's not an insult.
