@waterflowing2 Well first of all because I lead this song in our church also. Second, I purchased a CD with this song on here and the words were on there. And third, Dorinda did not write this song, this is an old song recorded by the Chicago Mass Choir in 1999. If you listen to their version, which is also on youtube, you can understand what they are saying.
