Ein Fernsehbild wird in die Luft geschrieben. Fernsehbilderzeugung mit 4 rotierenden Leuchtdiodenleisten. Auf jeder Leiste befinden sich 232 Leuchtdioden, die mit dem Fernsehsignal angesteuert werden. Durch die Rotation werden die Zeilen auseinander gezogen und es entsteht ein vollständiges Fernseh - Vollbild. Das Gerät wurde schon mehrmals im deutschen Fernsehen gezeigt (ZDF, WDR, NDR) und auch einmal bei RAI Uno in Italien.

Could this kind of thing somehow be made to display colour images? Like having three strips of LEDs: one for red, green, and blue might do the trick. It makes sense in my mind.
