Wonder why the big corporations and republicans are saying, the private sector won't be able to compete... =)
They just don't like being put on a playing field they don't own.. It's just too fair if people can decide to choose healthcare that costs, what it really would cost!
And it's not a monopoly, it's a cartel, but the jist is the same.

Here is the situation right now... The insurance companies are suppose to compete with one another to get the customers by lowering premiums.. However, they are not doing this, they are all working together to raise premiums like a fuckin monopoly. The public option will compete with them by offering a much lower premium for the american people

Ah yes, let us give the government a monopoly over health insurance. More control to the government. What a wonderful idea. Let us require purchase of insurance as a condition of being a US citizen. What insanity is this? Why are we so eager to let the government solve our problems? Any congressman who votes for this atrocious bill must be voted out of office. Not only this bill but cap and trade as well.

all the democrats who vote against the public option, will be and must be voted OUT. . . this is the biggest disaster i have ever seen.....we control the house,the senate,and the presidency,we do not need anyone to pass a law....
what a shame...all democrats who cause problem with this public option will be voted out thats a PROMISE!!!

I don't know anyone who is under the impression that this is free. We need a Strong Public Option in the final bill. If you agree then help me put pressure on those who are standing in the way by signing the petitions you find in the comment section of my profile. Thanks.
