If someone's medical negligence resulted in YOU losing your arms and legs I'm sure you would want to sue them. No, it wouldn't bring back your limbs but there might be some satisfaction in it plus it would guarantee that you would be cared for if you could no longer care for yourself.

Glad the judge overturned the first jury's decision in favour of the knackered, 3a.m. doctor.
But surely a good advert for MAKING A LIVING WILL for anyone who is terrified of anything this drastic being done to them.
Poor wretch, I hope she receives the original $7m they offered her so she can provide over & above what her (now carer) daughter needs. But I doubt it will make Lisa's life or outlook any more positive.
