Good, it is funny, some paintings look like the same as the ones of the painter Maurice experton on the website. Was he one of his students? Seems it could with the date of birth.

Nicolas de Staël was one of the greatest pure painters who ever lived. And he rejected the safe academic art style of his time and went his own way.
