  • @YerBuddy2 20 mega upload ? Wow what on earth does the person in Cali have FIOS?

  • @YerBuddy2 ah no wonder it looks so good. im lucky if i can send 5 up and looks crappy on a laptop when im at my shore place sure my catcher will look worse on a big screen

  • @YerBuddy2 Isnt timeshifting provided? iptv

  • Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.

  • 3. I am only sending the slingbox signal to one TV. You could do multiple TVs or computers, but you would only be able to watch one at a time unless you had multiple slingboxes.

  • 2. The Slingcatcher does the work of a computer. No need to have a separate computer if you have the Slingcatcher. If you don't have a Slingcatcher then a separate computer will do the same thing if you have a wireless keyboard and mouse

  • @langleyafbhomes: Good questions. I'll try to give you what I know:

    1. In a way yes. I have the Slingcatcher connected to my TV via HDMI. The only things connected to the Slingcatcher are an Ethernet cable (CAT5), that is connected to my router, and power naturally.

  • We're up near Ramstein. We are looking at running the same setup that you have. Could you answer a few of questions for me?

    1) Are you using the slingcatcher to project the picture to your TV?

    2) Are you restricted to using a PC to shift the signals from your computer to the TV?

    3) Are you sending the slingbox signal to multiple TV's in your house? Have you thought about this and what would you need to accomplish this?

    Any help would be appreciated
