I believe that according the definition chauvanism against a particular race or culture would in fact be racism. Liam disliking raggae has nothing to do with 'racial politics.' You are making mountains out of molehills.
Plus you have to remember that he was on lots of drugs at the time...so how seriously can you take anything that he said during 90's?

OK. Not liking reggae doesn't make you racist. Note - I accused them of 'chauvinism' not racism.

The people also gave us The Beatles, JFK, Abraham Lincoln, and Ghandi. So shut the F up about popularity being 'bad'
And if Liam didn't want to sing a song that sounded like reggae it doesn't matter. He doesn't like it. I don't liek reggae either...does that make me racist? If you don't like Country does that make you racist? He probably wouldn't want to do if it sounded like electronic dance music either. Then who would he be discriminating on?

man van outen was sooooooooo fine back then, so was Noel, I remember this interview from when it aired Oasis were sooo huge, my whole life centered around them.
