He did, but I can't remember his name. Sounds like Charlie Murphy (brother of Eddie Murphy) to me though.

I prefer the classic "This is CBS" voice overs.

I guess CBS after that disastrous "You're On" the previous season wasted no time in attempting to lure viewers back to their network with "Welcome Home."
NBC should be taking notes!

Know what, I take back what I said--some of these idents do infact look familiar, but I recognize the 1997-98 IDs best.

Whenever I see any of these CBS IDs during 1996-1998 when it's time for The Price is Right, I considered this the signal to get ready for The Price is Right since this was seen right before The Price is Right starts up.
