I used a t-nut, a mini bar clamp, and some mighty putty to make a dirt cheap and sturdy iPod touch tripod clamp.

  • I got this little plastic gadget called a glif for my iphone 4s. Of course they rip you off when you pay 20 bucks for a little piece of plastic with the metal thingy that screws into your tripod.

  • @paprluvr I've seen that and considered it. I found a couple of other mounts on eBay for about $3 each that were pretty neat. The glif doesn't work for the iPod touch, sadly. (Also I found glif knockoffs on ebay for about $5, including shipping.)

  • awesome idea!

  • @redihpeach Thanks!

  • Which of your videos was taken with your Ipod? I knew I could watch videos on my Ipod but didn't know I could take them.

  • @zolawinnie I think it will only work if you have the 4th gen iPod touch with the camera. I know that you can also make videos with the iPhone.

  • @comfortableshoesstud Wish I had known about the knock offs before I shelled out 20 bucks.

  • @comfortableshoesstud

    doh ofcourse xD Silly me

  • @zolawinnie the videos loaded in the last few days.

  • @glamourbombtv :P The little tripod you see in the vid wedges into compartment on the top part of my dashboard. 2 legs in the compartment and one leg down the dash stabilizing it. I've mounted smaller point and shoots and my JVC everio to the dash this way. It's surprisingly sturdy. I looked at a whole bunch of different adapters and mounts before I came to the conclusion that I needed to just use something that I had on hand.
