Battle of the Sexes 2009

Every Dance Bear-a-Thon event has 11 themed hours, plus the first hour, Missouri State Pride Power Hour. For our third annual event, "Miracles in Motion!", our special spoiler hour was the brand new "Battle of the Sexes" theme, where we had an epic "showdown" between Missouri State's own a capella groups, the Beartones and A Cub Bella. The morale dance for the hour featured trade-offs between guy and girl dancers, with classic dances recreated for some of the songs and brand new choreography for others. The girls even did the "Bend and Snap", as shown to the world by Legally Blonde!
