Egypt's president Hosni Mubarak has announced he won't seek re-election in September's vote - after more than a week of violent protests across the country urging him to step down. But the U.S. President has called for him to begin transition immediately - a shift in rhetoric towards the leader it backed for nearly 30 years of his rule. British journalist Yvonne Ridley told RT that Egyptian people will no longer let the U.S. pick the leaders for them.

  • @mrfwest Good luck with CNN and FOX.

  • Fuck the US everyone hate it :@

  • RT and RTamerica are both russian propoganda pages bent on manipulating views about america... do not taking anything they say as more than that

  • @gallantventurer torturing women and children.again-a parrot repeating unsubstantiated bullshit... ub has had plenty of anti-israel resolutions-all you have to do is use your google device to learn that- hiroshima bomb-my generation can't defend that-but can't condemn it either- japan hadn't surrendered a single battle during entire ww2-so bomb saved more lives from american invasion- anyone inteligent who thinks about what the world would be like if Japan and nazi Germany won ......

  • @gallantventurer you jjust repeat every unsubstantiated rumour-bullshit statistics-you believe every awful thing said without any critical analysis--then throw in Zionist propaganda;there's no point;you're a parrot,

  • @gallantventurer Us Isn't keen on attacking Iran or North Korea;but no area has had more wars the last 50 years than the Middle East;only a fool wants an arms race there;was America punished for attacking Iraq;Yes;the cost to the Treasury-the loss of lives-the hurt to American credibility was enormous;Punishment for illegal torture;Yes;there were people that were professionally dismissed M;iddle East countries PERFECTED torture;compared to Hussein-nothing the US even fit the definition.

  • @gallantventurer Israel has one problem with Arabs;the Palestinian situation;the Palestinian territory without the Hamas Government has an uneasy peace;the Hamas lead territory has a terrible situation-but that's what suicide bombing and stupidly shooting rockets into a militarily superior country will do for you..

  • @gallantventurer of course you said arrest mubarek;read your own fukin posts;why does US care about north Korean nuclear program;do some research;the lesder there is borderline insasne and isCONSTANTLY threatening to nuke the area ;you're a cold blooded sob;you Egyptians threw of YOUR dictatorship -but you're defending Kim Jung and Gadaddafi;what countryhas had more wars in the last 50 years than the Mideast?Once Iran has the bomb-every country in the region will get one.

  • @gallantventurer EVERYBODY complains;if the us does nothing-they complain-if the us helps muslim civiliians-you complain-ifthey trade with a dictator -people complain-if they embargo a dictator-people complain==it's a joke. that's what happens if you blame US for everything-people stop taking you seriously.

  • @gallantventurer America isn't world police;then why are you suggesting we should have arrested mubarek;?sorry-when you start contradicting yourself like that-that's a sign of just runaway hatred....
