Greensburg's Hand Dug Well June 24, 2009

My family and I made a stop by the "hand dug well" at Greensburg, Kansas on June 24, 2009. It's been over two years since a tornado nearly completely wiped Greensburg off the map. The people there are super friendly and are working hard to get their town back on track. It appears that you can't go into the well (like before the tornado), but I'm sure that the folks in Greensburg will have it back better than before. Here's just 1:30 of what it was like that day. We hadn't been there since the young man you see in the video was able to be carried around by me (when he was a toddler), so I'm guessing we hadn't been there in about 17+ years...
Oh yeah... The well was recently selected as one of the Kansas Sampler Foundation's "8 Wonders of Kansas."
