Take My Breath Away (Chapter 18)

Stella raced by rolling a suitcase and yelling for Joe. Dani kept refolding Kevin's socks as he packed them into a duffel bag. Everyone was everywhere in the chaos as they tried to plan and pack for the upcoming tour. Nick stood next to Selena taking in the chaos.

"This is just insane," Selena said. "I thought we were all getting together to plan for the tour. They do know there's still another week before we have to pack for this tour right? I mean there's a whole week and a half until we leave."

"Yeah," Nick said. "I tried explaining that, but they wouldn't listen." Then as if someone hit pause all of the activity in the house came to a complete stop. Nick looked over in surprise to see that Macy had walked in with David not far behind.

"Oh...um," Macy stuttered. "I thought you were all meeting at Kevin and Dani's place." David waved happily at Selena and she waved back. Macy and Nick shot them both odd looks. "We should just go."

"Why?" Nick asked. "Are we interrupting your private time?" Then he mentally cursed wondering why he couldn't just be nice to her.

"Whoa," Selena said before Macy could respond. "You guys cleared the room." They all looked around to see that Dani, Kevin, Joe, and Stella had vanished from the room.

"They probably were just tired of watching Nick fawn all over you," Macy snapped instantly regretting her words when Selena's face fell.

"Stop it Macy!" Nick shouted. "There's no reason for you to treat her that way."

"I'm sorry," Macy said in a mocking tone. "I didn't mean to upset your little girlfriend."

"You're one to talk," Nick scoffed. "Parading around with your boyfriend over there."

"Uh guys?" David said trying to get their attention. They continued to fight ignoring David.

"WOULD YOU TWO SHUT UP?!?!?!!" Selena screamed instantly quieting the room. Macy and Nick stopped and looked over at David and Selena who now stood holding hands. When had they walked over to one another? What was going on? "I'm not dating Nick."

"And I'm not going out with Macy," David said. Macy and Nick stood dumbfounded so David continued. "Sel and I are dating. We have been dating for the last few months."

"But you kept asking me what girls like to do on dates. What gifts a girl like me would want. You said the girl you like and I were almost the same person," Macy said softly.

"You two have very similar personalities. I think you didn't see that because you never really connected with Selena. I was trying to come up with good ideas for our dates," David replied.

"And you asked me how to tell a guy that you love them," Nick said pitifully to Selena.

"Because I was trying to figure out how to tell David that I love him," Selena said. David smiled and kissed the top of her head. "You two didn't think--?" Selena and David broke up in laughter. "You've been fighting because of us this whole time. That is hilarious!" Macy and Nick broke out in twin blushes of embarrassment as Selena and David continued to laugh. They straightened as they realized what all of the drama had done to their friend's relationship.

"That first time we all ran into each other at the coffee place," David began. "Selena was jealous when she saw me with Macy. That's why she ran out and I ran after her."

"But David and I talked," Selena said with a smile. "We worked through our jealousy because we care about each other. Both of us see you as good friends. We tried our best to be there for you both during a difficult time. I never would have urged you to break up with Macy if I had known you were fighting about David and I."

"But you did," Macy and Nick said in unison.

"Because I thought you two had talked. The relationship I saw was one that had deteriorated beyond repair. I'm sorry." David wrapped a protective arm around Selena.

"We're going to head out and give you time to talk. It's up to you both to decide if your relationship is worth saving. Neither one of us can tell you otherwise. We both know that now. Good luck." Macy and Nick watched as David and Selena left. With the air cleared there was a good chance they could work out their problems. Macy and Nick turned to one another prepared to finally talk it out when they heard a cry come from the other room.

"Then who the hell is pregnant?!?" the voice yelled.

[AN: Okay, so feel free to get mad at me for yanking your chain. There was never a Nelena or a David/Macy pairing. They just let the jealousy overtake them and didn't stop to think logically.]

Oh GOD,i happy for selena and david,but i'm sad nick and macy lost time for nothing after he give her promise ring I love to see what will happen,oh i think kevin or joe is yelling plzzzzzzzz update soon :D
