I don't think you need to worry about anymore Consultancy calls after that performance. I'm sure you are a very talented and successful designer, but god forbid if a day ever comes when you need that little bit of extra help in the job market. Let's hope a few of those bridges do remain in tact.

Remember, they called me asking to do THEIR job for them, those people don't deserve to be in the business. There are some decent recruitment consultants around.

A pity you saved your most useful rant for last. It is indeed incredibly annoying to have to signup for sites for datasheets or to have to talk to sales reps to get the "full datasheet" because the one they provide do not even have the basic IC pinout. Thanks for the rant, there entertaining. Keep em coming haha

It's normal with big companies - they so like meetings and other waste of time things - I still remember when I found readout bug in ST MCU's and mail with them about it and possible future solutions to solve this, they first what they want was to meet with them and no simple meeting actually they want me to flight into France waste at least 2-5 days only me to say exactly same what I wrote on e-mail - and this was even not for they money but for my money - Maybe is a time to publish this bug :)

Oh! That's right! Found even price list for cv's here in Germany. They not even have a job. They simply sale cv's to bigger headhunter company. Can be from 100 to 200 dollars worth -). And bigger headhunter like have no need in personal to search workers and can say that their database of workers is more than 500000 -). "Dead Souls" by Gogol.

Recruitment agents are evil. They usually ring me up when I'm job hunting and just keep me talking long enough to ask me where I've already applied so that they can then send CVs to all those companies. I never tell them even when they get arsey with me and then they hang up. They waste my time and theirs.
