A small GTA IV benchmark with my new system.
Core i5 750
4GB Corsair DOMINATOR @ 1600mhz
ATi Radeon 4850
OS: Windows 7 Professional

This video was made by recording it all with fraps, lowering the framerate quite a lot. Without fraps, same settings, I get an average of 43 fps. As you can see in this video, with fraps I get 29 average fps. All settings are set to HIGH (I could even set some to Very High, but the textures mess up fast), draw and detail distance 70, and with Definition on.
Resolution 1920x1200.

  • i recently bought system with core i5, gtx 480, 8 gig ddr3, and i play gta eflc, and the picture is great, but i got two problems, no.1 is that im really worried for my gtx card couse it gets very hot, hotter than any electronic device should get, 2nd problem is that the game laggs a little bit, and i really don't know why it is lagging, is it because core i5 isn't good enough for gaming? does anybody know?

  • @Zee96969696 How hot does your GPU get? What settings do you use? What framerate/benchmark results do you get in GTA IV?

  • hey how would these specs handle gta iv:

    core i5 750

    4gb ddr2 ram

    8800gtx ultra

    Os:windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

cuz i am in a mood for an upgrade will it max gta iv on 1440x900 resolution???

  • @oakomerali The thing that is going to hold your performance back is the graphics card (like me), but your card is sligtly better than mine, and I can play GTA IV on nice settings @ 1440x900, not sure if you can max it out, but everything on very high without AA maybe works out. I don't really know. :)

  • @Zw00lt3 gta4 doesnt have aa. just sayin.... and in gta4, everything on very high=maxed lol

  • @gabrocki Yes mate, you are right. I don't know what I was thinking :) Maybe I thought of Texture filtering.

    i play gta iv also on a i5 750 with a gtx 570 phantom at 1920 x 1080 maxed out and i have 67 fps when i run the benchmark ;)

  • @MrMenstruator hey dude all things are right but the mistake is your ram just thing you know your ram has how many mhz!!!! i tell you your ram 4gb ddr3 has only 800mhz so very poor so i advise you to buy a corsair xms

ddr3 1333mhz you note that all videos you see having corsair so this computers much better smoother than

5870 this computer above this video have the poor card 4850 but him computer smoother then our computers

  • @oakomerali i have solution buy corsair xms3 dd3 4gb or 8gb 1333mhz your problem will solve

  • @Zw00lt3 hey man this is all because of corsair

  • Hey can this computer spec run this game like really good.

    Intel Core i5 760 Quad Core (2.80GHz, 8MB Cache)

    4GB (2 x 2GB) Mushkin PC10600 1333MHz DDR3

    ATI HD5570 1GB

  • AVG 29 Fps ? My Ex-Core2 Duo E7500 + HD4770 = 33,75 fps.. My new computer, AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE + HD4770 = 69,00 fps.. AVG
