@ukebelch Amex Blue Cash Preferred

@sunsirel 6%? how do you get that?
-
@pdemsky correct keep it here in the usa
we have a right to ask what country the service rep is in and guess what?
if they are in another country like india or so we have a right to ask to be transferred to a usa call center ! do this for all customer service issues
we need to keep our usa people employed and the more we ask to be switched then the more people would be hired to help out

I like it!

AmEx has always been very helpful, BUT, I do agree with previous posters: why won't the company add the virtual card feature?!? I tried my best to lobby for it, and the rep just kept repeating: our site is safe, no need for the virtual card, you will never be compromised, you will never be liable for any illegal chgs. From experience, I know differently as the thieves have even tried to steal my non-AmEx virtual card, even at the moment I was on the phone w/ the Fraud Dept this past week!!

Yeah, if you don't carry a balance, you can score. I try to never have a carryover from one month to the next. It works for me.

I AM GLAD THESE CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE. NEED TO TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF THE OTHER SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE.
THANK YOU.

A $5000 balance on a charge card is not a good look.. wow

Don't know why anyone would complain about the customer service reps at Amex.I have never dealt with anyone less than 100% helpful.And they aren't in India. Big +++++
@pointdan probably because of the benefits. Who else gives you 6% back at any grocery store in the US when their credit card processing fee is barely 2%? Just don't carry a balance

Given the extremely low interest rates available today, why does AMEX and other
credit card companies charge such exhorbitant APRs ???
