While browsing through my old videos, I found this little gem of a clip and thought I would post it on here.............

If features Neil Ruddock and Alan Shearer being interviewed on Midweek Sport by Andy Steggall on TVS on 9th October 1991. They were being interviewed shortly after defeating Scarborough 5-3 on aggregate earlier on that evening at The Dell.

For the record, Saints defeated Sheffield Wednesday in a replay 1-0 at The Dell after a 1-1 away draw. They lost to Notts Forest 1-0 at The Dell after a replay.

How things have moved on - Alan Shearer being touted as a £3 million pound striker with today's prices!! "I don't think anyone's worth 3 million..............", says Alan Shearer - tell that to the likes of Kaka and Ronaldo!!

The manager that they mentioned was the legendary Ian Branfoot - whatever happened to him?
