My hen is kept in a big bird cage in my home but it always gets smelly in 1 day so what should do I do ? (plz reply if not my parents are going to give it to let cats eat it )

@Abuhafsah2009 If you want hens just for the purpose of enjoyment and of course having wonderful eggs, then a male is inadvisable. The main duty of the cock is to keep his girls in order and to "attend" to them (tread them) at every and often possibility, so you tend to get hens that are always being bothered by the male. Of course, if you want to breed, ..... but then you have to get extra hen houses and equipment for incubation and safety.
I have 26 assorted hen now, no male and all very happy

@TheLordSod I TOTALLY agree, there was NO guide, no information. This should be re-titled "Look at MY hens!"

One simple question ! how do you manage to keep your lawn so tidy and intact ? my chicken need to be restrained otherwise they would savage my garden and no plants and flowers would survive
-
Love your step in the beginning of the video and the momma chicken with her chicks. :0)

When you refer to a garden , here in the USA it usually always means a vegetable garden used for growing product. Chickens don't mix well as they pick at the plants and ruin stuff.
Nice video but i wouldn't say it's a guide at all, more of a promotion. Thumbs down for misleading title.

@TheLordSod Hi, thanks for your comment. Do you mean the entire DVD is more of a promotion than a guide? Or are you just talking about the promotional trailer for the DVD? I would hate to think that any of our customers are displeased with any of our products and would welcome any comments you may have. There is more information about this DVD and all our other titles on Second Sight Productions website should you require it. Thanks

No, just the fact that this video posted on youtube is a promotion, whereas the title implies that the video is a guide itself. I was just expecting the video to be a guide, as I was interested in how it's done.
No harm done in the long run, it's just that I find being marketed to generally inconvenient, as it was in this case.

@Marktheshtfgenius Hi apologies if you misunderstood this is a trailer for a DVD called A Guide to Keeping Hens with Francine Raymond. The DVD covers pretty much anything a person will need to know to get them started if they want to keep hens. It lasts for almost 80 mins i'm afraid we would not be able to give a sufficient guide in less than 2 and a half mins. sorry.
