@Joshster777 the church does not know when christ was born this day of the year is the day of the sun gods..witch is nothing more then man putting power were it don't belong...there is no fact in the book of god that says god was born upon this day but ever other god since 13000BC was born on the same day dec 25 an born of a virgin mother bla bla bla....sorry i dont buy it...an it is not right for christians to celebrate christmas they killed ppl for that in the past..its just a book..lol

@doxx357 Your right, we do not know the exact date of Christ's birth, it was likely in the spring. But regardless, many Christians, including myself don't see it as a "Birthday Party", it is merely a time of "Reflection and Meditation" on the Incarnation and Birth of Christ (Which is Biblical)

The Bible is an accurate source of Historical document proven again and again by the Historical Method, possibly even more precise than what we know about Julius Ceaser, and the Greek Philosophers, Plato.

@doxx357 According to The Sovereign Lord of the Universe (The Great Spirit if you will) In His word (The Bible), He miraculously brought Jesus to the world via a virgin birth, so that he could be unstained by the sin nature of man. Thus meaning that Jesus was perfect while at the same time being God in visible human form. Even what we know of Jesus himself, he claims to be co-equal with The Father and is the Fulfillment of all the Prophets of Old.

@doxx357 You say its not okay for Christians to celebrate Christmas, and then say you don't believe in God, and then say maybe God might exist. If God doesn't exist why should it matter what Christians observe to you?

If you watch the video, I make a distinction between two types of Christmas traditions these days. The first is the secular materialistic christmas (Paganistic and Heathenistic) since it is all about the self)

@doxx357 ... and the Christ-mas observed by Christians as a time to reflect on the birth and Incarnation of Christ, while expressing it in the fruit of giving. No of course, this is not in the bible, meaning that Christians do not dogmatically have to celebrate it! The Church for nearly 2,000 years has just used this time as a period of reflection for that which is biblical, the birth of the saviour, God becoming man.

I too,am native American, and I know that God is my creator.Of all the days of my life, those that begin with prayer are the days of my greatest experiences.I love God because He loved me first; He loved me so MUCH that He gave His only Son.Who loves THAT much?It makes no sense for one to argue that humans should not seek love, peace and good will towards men.Which of these offends you the most? No one knows when Earth was created, but we still recognize a day for its existence. Presidents' Day is in honor of more than one presidential birthday. My daughter's birthday often falls on Mother's Day, so we celebrate her birthday a week in advance. The calendar day is not the point. I love having Christmas on a previously pagan ritual base. It is a demonstration of Christ washing away sins.

We celebrate God's love of this world. "For God so loved the WORLD that He gave His one and only Son..." The reason for the season is God's love of this world and all those upon it.

It is our obligation to recognize that God is global. His creation is what He LOVES and all the people are His children. Our family Loves God by loving, honoring, and respecting His world.

Our celebration on this day is much different than other people's in our cohort. We focus on the Birth of Christ by having a party for Christ with balloons, cake, and streamers. We focus on Him for this event. However, we also focus on the world. We love to study other cultures and pray for other populations of people. We highlight obedient followers of Christ and thank God for working through those people.
