@TheTubePortal I heard the lawyer got killed
-
@KaleoHeart Trust me when I say, that the lawyer got the publicity that he intended to get. The hustlers out there saw this case, and they'll retain her services. Also, other courts and Judges will refer cases to him. Lawyers know exactly what they are doing, when they go on TV shows like this. They understand the exact demographic that they intend to pursue.

@sobefobik he is dead

The funny thing is, I bet it was the lawyer's idea to bring this case to Judge Judy hoping for some really good publicity for his law firm. Of course, it didn't turn out that way. He got BAD publicity instead. lol

I just noticed Byrd was standing there behind them at the end.....I bet he was really uncomfortable.....I bet the D's smelled
-
I am really confused. Did he have a counterclaim?
-
I hope he gets to see his daughter, or at least gets custody with better firms. Poor Defendant. :/

This is one of my favorite Judge Judy episodes. She laid it down, and basically said the woman was annoying, and the lawyer was full of it. Awesome! And loved the defendant.

the editing of this episode is weird. jj starts out as always by summarizing the plaintiff's suit & the defendant's answer after which she says @ 00:40 "he's counter-claiming." then after she dismisses the claim & turns to the defendant to ask if he got a refund she says @ 12:20 "unfortunately you do not have a counter-claim."
btw, i love jj's brooklyese pronunciation of "order to show cause"- orrrrrrr-rrrrrrrashowcawze.

karma's a bitch, isn't daniel?
"I'm surprised he hasn't reported you to the Bar Association."
"I have reported him."
Big smile from me, and probably from just about all the rest of you. Mr. Murillo is perhaps the most prepared and most eloquent defendant I've seen on just about any court show, and it was fun to watch him have his day of satisfaction.
