Madara did not have the rinnegan when he fought the first, And the rinnegan is the ultimate weapon. It has the power of death & life. So in my opinion Madara has become stronger than the first. Well the strongest hokage was the third it is said in manga and anime. He lost to the 2nd and 1st because he was old. The first could only control the beasts because his chakra calmed them in a way is the best way I can describe it. And Minato is my favorite. In my opinion he could potentially kill anyone
