@rabbittbabbitt hey um i need a laptop that is very versitile computer, i need a computer that is good for video editing ang gaming and that i can also do my scjool work on. what do you recomend?

Becuse gaming hardware is not cheap in general (a high end current get GTX card for desktop will run you anywhere from 400 to 700USD, double or triple that for SLI) You also have to account for the fact that the boards have to be custom made for the laptops design (there not modular like a ATX would be), it has to be designed for low power consumption and heat dissipation wile keeping it as compact and small as possible. This is why gaming laptops cost alot.

You've said this is "extremely quiet", if I wanted to use it to record spoken audio would the fan and machine noise me undetectable ?

they just released the new version of this at my job. and im def getting it today haha. 1TB Hard Drive, 2 GB of dedicated Graphics instead of 1, 8 GB of ramm. and it cheaper

@patsybob because to fit the kind of power that modern games require into a portable frame and still have it functional is difficult

i looked at the ailenware 15.6 inch to a bit expensive, but cheaper than the m17x r3 (too big). whatever i was so into to buy the m15, but it doenst have hdmi ;(
