In the summer of 2007 my wife and I got to watch one of the AC 777 training flights from Montreal to Ottawa doing numerous touch and goes at Ottawa.
It's amazing that a plane so large can be so agile.

i heard that when a 777 flies its wings bend so much u could put a wire from tip to tip and it would clear the fusalage...

This is quite literally a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the pilots, and likely for the people watching as well. When AC initially took the B777, the pilots needed to accomplish so much training, but the simulators were not fully ready yet. So the company allowed select pilots to take the plane and brush up on their skills. This will likely never happen again now that the simulators are fully online.

Thanks for the supplementary info. We were all wondering why when it was going on.
