AVIC F700BT with 3.01 Firmware + Mods

A bunch of useful mods bundled into one package, also running the latest (unreleased) firmware for the AVIC F700BT.

(You need to have the 3.0 or 3.01 firmware installed to use this mod. It has not been tested on any other firmware version)

Sorry to all about not getting back to you in a timely manner. I'm in the army training for Afghanistan so it makes it hard to get on here...

To 3.01 update file can be downloaded from the Pioneer website. You use the file for the x910bt series. You MUST update your WinCE image on the stereo first before you can upload the 3.01 update.

@brian10048 None at all... I got a dash insert that fit almost perfectly. I had to shave the sides <1mm to get it snug, Otherwise, it looks like it's a factory install.

I changed the background to show a VW symbol and no one even notices it's aftermarket. :)

The wires and harness in behind have to be tucked and folded in just right because it's really really tight

@815tomcat I have the handbrake grounded to a random screw behind the dash trim and have the software bypass uploaded to the stereo to work around the error that would normally come up.

It's a digital camera (not an actual video camera). 7.0 Mega pixels only go so far. :(
