Nice looking gar! I had one, but now I have a rtc/tsn hybrid, florida gar and sun catfish. They get along great in my 125!

I have an Alligator Gar and it is quickly outgrowing my 30gallon and my friend is selling me his old 125gallon setup.

I have now had that fish for 2 years. He is now nearly 20 inches and in need of a new tank. It is very common for your gar to change color from day to day even by mood or color of your gravel. I put sand in mine because gar like to put their nose into the sand and dig. That is a neat habit to watch. I now have a couple other fish in the tank with him and they do wel together.
