last time i went to a honda dealer the sales guy started putting down some number and right away he said all i need is ur signature and were set but i was like hold up let me see the paper and i couldnt believe what he put down. he put down a whole bunch of things like wheel protection stuff, window bull shit then he put the alarm for $500 REALLY!? a stock factory alarm for 500 when i saw that i was out they tried to stop me but i was like PEACE IM OUT bunch of bullshit
@mrchucknorrisninja I agree, Your contract will tell you if its 60 months or 72 months etc, The girl in the story wanted a payment of 250.00. To get to a payment of around 250.00 per month for 60 months you can spend about 12k assuming you have good credit. Most people are not realistic in what they can afford.
I prefer to deal with an educated consumer, they know what they can afford and typically have done their research about what type of deal you can get.

Part of it is that lots of people don't know much about cars, and part of it is that lots of people don't read the things they sign.
Remedy those two things, and car salesmen wouldn't get away with the majority of this garbage.

My god... that woman speaking for the dealerships is utterly out of it. I'm pretty sure she thought she was talking about cotton candy at one point.

These dishonest car salespeople should be arrested and made to pay for their hoaxes against customers, just like any thief is for stealing a wallet.
