I browsed thru his book at the bookstore & it seemed to have some fascinating backstage stories...but I wish he'd written more about his marraige to actress Nina Foch back in the 50's. She's probably best known for her supporting roles in films like "Executive Suite" (where she was nominted for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar) and "Spartacus". I'm happy that Mr Lipton went on to have a very happy & long second marriage. THANKS for sharing this clip with us!

James Lipton's "Inside Inside" is a fun ride.

I read a lot of biographys and this one ranks up

there with Orson Welles.

I think it should be required reading for any theatre student. Good Show James!

2 of 3:Lipton has had a rich life and he has met quite a few interesting characters outside of the well-knowns he's interviewed on the show. The manner in which he introduces you to these characters and allows you to get to know them through his memories is quite engaging. Still, this book may not be engaging for everyone. Before purchasing Inside Inside, or any book for that matter, I would suggest sampling one chapter of the book.
