  • You can see this is a welded steel guy complaining about our tanks. They don't like us because we have little to NO maintenance and they require it, paint cycle after paint cycle. But what he fails to tell us is "show us a 30 year old welded tank that has NEVER had any maintenance and i will show you 5 that are 30 years and older and still look brand new and never required any new bolts. Our story and our tanks are proof, and we are not afraid to prove it. Please show us your 30 yo tank!

  • im a steel welded maintennance crew leader and i have ran across several aquastore tanks that has had bad steel delamination under the coating,,it wasnt recognized until it was not repairable due to the coating holding together real tight and trapping rust

  • May not need to repaint but you will replace the tank every 20-30 years. Corrosion, which will develop, can not be repaired other than in spots. Life cycle analysis will almost always show steel tanks are more cost effective in the long run. 10's of thousand or hundreds of thousands of galvanized or stainless steel bolts are a maintenance nightmare in and of themselves.

There are always two sides to a story. Especially YOUR story.
