In memory of Shebang

In memory of Shebang, my heartdog and soulmate. Shebang died very suddenly and unexpectedly in October 2007, at only nine years and three weeks of age. She fell sick on October 15th, and at 3:30 am on October 17th, I had to make the devastating decision to let her go and be pain free. Her illness turned out to be pancreatic cancer. There will never be another Shebang, she was the dog of a lifetime.

Wow, I went through so many emotions watching this video! She was so adorable and very smart. I'm sorry for your loss. I liked what you said at the very end about being lucky to share her life with her. That was a very kind thing to say. You did a great job with her, you should be proud you gave her a fantastic life. I'm getting a BC in a month and will try some of Shebang's tricks :)

i just saw her clips today only and learned that she already passed away, i cried.. but she will still be my favourite star and i am her fan

shebang is such an inspiraion too me my friend lexy just showed me some videos of shebang and i cant stop watching them.. i love australian shepherds and i know that the border collie is the smartest dog in the world but i hope to get an aussie one day and teach him/her tricks too... like bring the tail to me <3 and i know that no other dog can compare to shebang and im so very sorry for ur loss of shebang... love always <3 brenna

I just saw the videos of Shebang tonight while looking at another link. The minute I saw this one titled "In Memory of Shebang" my heart sank. I am so heartsick for you and am crying as I write this. She truly was an awesome, gorgeous and wonderful friend. I do know how you felt having had dogs all my life and losing some of them so suddenly. I rescued a blue heeler two years ago and starting agility training. I hope she can be half as good as your beloved Shebang. I grieve with you.

What an absolutely beautiful dog. Shebang was clearly an amazing animal and a very dear friend to you. I am so sorry for your loss, but I know you can rest assured that her life here on earth was full of fun, adventure, triumphs, and most of all, Love =) Losing a pet is never easy, especially when they take a very part of us with them, but I have no doubt Shebang is still with you in everything you do. Thank you for sharing this incredible dog with the world =) RIP Shebang <3
